(aka the next great adventure… or self inflicted torture)
Not long ago I read an article on Facebook that gave me a heapin’ helping of perspective on getting what you want. If you’ve got the time you can read it here – it’s pretty good! So I dusted off my absolutely abysmal first draft of the novel I began writing in 2014, pulled out my red pen and began the long and loveless task of editing my own work.
I am in no denial that as I embark on this particular adventure that it will hurt – a lot. But it gives me great confidence that in this year, the Year of the Fire Monkey, where risks are rewarded and anything can happen, that this little sucker will take shape and bloom.
