To write it right, it’s all about listening. Creative agency, FreshPict, had just undergone a rebrand and needed help with words for their new website.
Our brief was to capture the company’s brand personality with the right tone of voice and by highlighting their unique, relaxed approach to working with clients.
As copywriters it’s vital to listen to our clients – this is how we get to understand a specific business, field or area of expertise. In order to wrap our heads around all things FreshPict, we completed an in-depth phone interview with the company’s chief whip cracker, David Glenn. From that conversation we learned this much – keeping the words honest, clear and conversational was key.
A creative himself, David wanted to be hands on during the writing process. We welcome this kind of input – who knows a business better than those who work it? A few discussions and a couple of drafts later, the FreshPict website went live – populated with copy reflecting the company’s refreshed branding, communication goals and messaging. Most importantly, our clients got the right words for them.
